Apple shares its first teaser for Carpool Karaoke on Apple Music

The release comes after Apple acquiring the rights to the series, "Carpool Karaoke" produced by James Corden, Ben Winston, and Eric Pankowski.

As was the case with some segments of the original Carpool Karaoke on which the series is based - a popular viral segment from The Late Late Show with James Corden - it appears the celebrities move outside of the vehicle as well, not just sing in it. As the clip made clear, Corden's lined up an eclectic array of guests for the show, including Metallica, Alicia Keys and Ariana Grande. No premiere date has been announced. "Carpool Karaoke" the series is coming and we couldn't be more intrigued!

The segment features the charismatic James Corden driving through the streets of Los Angeles with A-list musicians, belting out their greatest hits. Apple ordered 16 episodes of "Carpool Karaoke" previous year, which also appears to be an evidence of the company's venture into TV programming as it plans to carve out its own space in the sphere moving forward. "It's a ideal fit for Apple Music - bringing subscribers exclusive access to their favorite artists and celebrities who come along for the ride". But with Carpool Karaoke: The Series, the audience clearly won't know what to expect.
