Andromeda's Animations Won't Be Patched At Launch

Since the game became available to EA Access and Origin Access subscribers on Xbox One and PC on Thursday (16 March) people have been sharing animated gifs and videos of some of the game's stranger quirks.

Taking all of this into consideration, it seems as if BioWare is doing all it can to make sure that Mass Effect: Andromeda launches as smoothly as possible on its first official day of availability.

While Frazier didn't declare exactly when Mass Effect: Andromeda facial animations will be addressed, he has revealed that the team at BioWare is working to include more skin tones for the game's character creation mode that should come in an update after the day one patch. But will there be a fix for these in time for the launch?

The Lions is our major focus for this year and extra games at the end of the year can be tough for us, it's always been that way. All Blacks coach Steve Hansen admitted earlier in the week that "people are desperate for England and the All Blacks to play".

Though it likely won't fix the issues now bugging a lot of the games dedicated fanbase on Reddit, Frazier has confirmed that the team is looking to add new skin tones to the game's character creation mode in a new patch.

Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date won't arrive until next week, but did you know you can start playing right now if you're on Xbox One? No, that ship has sailed. The game already runs at 30 FPS so any further dips feel like you temporarily lose control of your character. It's worth noting that this isn't the full game, and once you reach a certain point in the main story, you'll hit a brick wall in your space adventure.

A lot of the gifs below speak for themselves, but it appears that there's definitely something janky going on with some of the Mass Effect Andromeda, when it comes to Mass Effect Andromeda.
