Delhi and Mumbai Airport ranked second best in Asia-Pacific

JIA was tied with Indianapolis International Airport (Indiana) and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (Canada).

Tampa International was also called out for being the best airport in North America serving 15 to 25 million passengers a year.

Edmonton International Airport, Halifax Stanfield International Airport and Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International were tied for third place in the same category.

The airport received high scores from global passengers for the variety and quality of the concessionaires in Terminal D and for the cleanliness of the terminals and bathrooms. Meanwhile, QAIA achieved second place in the overall "Best Airport by Region: Middle East" category.

Security at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is better than the international airports such as Dallas, Heathrow, Paris and Dubai airport, a survey on airport service quality (ASQ) has revealed. It is a proud moment for Hyderabad that its airport has won this accolade based on the passengers' feedback taken under ACI ASQ Programme.

The NOC sees no need for now to declare force majeure at Es Sider or Ras Lanuf, said Alaokali, the company's board member. The LNA forces, who are loyal to General Khalifa Haftar, conceded the loss of Es Sider and Ras Lanuf on Saturday.

In 2007, a year after the IGIA was privatised; the airport's Airport Service Quality (ASQ) ranking was 101 in the world.

"These enhancements effectively highlight the high proportion of worldwide airports-both large and small, from developing and developed countries-that are focusing on customer service as a means of fostering traveler loyalty in an increasingly competitive environment", officials said.

"After receiving the 2015 ACI award for Most Improved Airport in North America, Skyxe has continued to focus on its guests".

The surveys are created to measure travelers views on such performance indicators as airport access, restrooms, stores, restaurants and security screening, among others. The ASQ program also has a feature that facilitates sharing of best practices among airport operators.
