'Strong likelihood' Ravens sign WR Torrey Smith

The 49ers made it official today: Torrey Smith is no longer with the team.

Two years ago, Torrey Smith signed a five-year, $40 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers.

Smith's exit from the roster frees up nearly $4.7 million in cap space, although that's hardly a factor given the 49ers have are more than $90 million under the projected cap.

Now the real question is...would you want to see #82 back in Baltimore?

Wherever Smith finds himself, that team is getting a victor on and especially off the field.

Baltimore's interest in Smith should come as little surprise after Smith spent his first four National Football League seasons with the Ravens, catching 213 passes for 3,590 yards and 30 touchdowns over that span.

On their Facebook page , the zoo described the "heinous act" and revealed it had "deeply affected" the animal's carer. Vince was born at a zoo in the Netherlands, and had been living at Thoiry Zoo since 2015.

The dynamic wide receiver was a versatile play-maker for the Baltimore Ravens, with whom he won a Super Bowl with.

He signed with the San Francisco 49ers in March 2015. He followed up with a disappointing season in which he only caught 20 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns.

Ironically, Smith recently spoke about overcoming those struggles under new coach Kyle Shanahan. Along with his TV work, Smith Sr. seems keen on also breaking free agent news on Twitter.

Smith complimented the organization and his teammates, stressing that he's not "super salty" and doesn't hate the 49ers.

"It didn't go the way we wanted it to but I'm thankful for the relationships I was able to build", he wrote.
