Who has the best chance of winning the NCAA tournament?

Although they lost a bit of their gusto and thus, their volume, as Duke's methodical blowout of Troy wore on, they never gave up. In fact, the Blue Devils are coming off one of their worst regular seasons of the last few years. Maybe if the Tar Heels had found a way into the tournament in 2010, they would have struggled to win a game. That being said, United Kingdom has the talent (Malik Monk, De'Aaron Fox, Bam Adebayo) to make it out of arguably the toughest region of the bracket (No.1 North Carolina and No. 3 UCLA come to mind). Duke does have two recent NCAA Tournament trophies, in 2010 and 2015, but those teams were drastically different from one another.

I have Arizona foiling Duke to reach the title game against North Carolina, which disposes of Louisville.

Duke won its 20th Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) tourney title, and first as merely a fifth seed. Vrankovic is not in that league yet but he's become a reliable presence when the other big guys have issues and he was again in this game. He's won two 8-9 games and three 6-11 games and three 4-13 games and two 3-14 games. They'll take on Oklahoma State in Indianapolis tomorrow.

I've had North Carolina pegged as the best team in the country for quite some time now, but after the bracket was unveiled on Sunday, my confidence in them has skyrocketed.

Only 12 of the nation's top 30 in 3-pointers made and only 14 of the top 30 in 3-point percentage made this year's NCAA Tournament field.

SC head coach Frank Martin and seniors Sindarius Thornwell and Justin McKie also spent time with the media prior to their matchup with Duke. Injuries to Tatum and freshman Henry Giles and Krzyzewski's back injury hurt the team's cohesion, but the Blue Devils seem to be rolling now. His 51 points against Summit League foe Fort Wayne on February 18 tied for the highest single-game scoring output by a D-1 player this season.

Troy (22-15) was making just the second NCAA Tournament appearance in school history and hopes this year's piece of March Madness stokes future excitement.

Lonzo Ball, UCLA. One-and-done star plays with poise and flair, led the nation in assists (7.7), could be the No. 1 overall National Basketball Association pick.

Joining Tatum and Kennard on the ACC all-tourney first team were UNC's Hicks, and N.D.'s stocky Bonzie Colson (29 points Saturday) and Matt Farrell. Those are the lowest-seeded teams to receive automatic bids to the Big Dance by winning their conference tournaments.

Willian starts as injured Eden Hazard ruled out
He earning himself an early booking and was also involved in incidents which saw yellow cards shown to Bruno Martins Indi and Phil Bardsley.

Members of the media had an opportunity to speak with head coach Mike Krzyzewski, junior Grayson Allen and freshman Frank Jackson after Duke hit the court for a closed practice.

The Trojan fan base, though, honed in on just one Blue Devil.

One last thing: We have created a group tournament challenge between the NPR Live team and other NPR staffers.

Not every national title contender plays elite defense, but most are at least respectable.

Having said that, putting Duke at a No. 2 isn't awful.

The Blue Devils could have an especially hard time against teams like Villanova and Marquette, who put up a lot of points.

The team that will most likely stand in its way of accomplishing that goal is my choice to win it all, the Arizona Wildcats. With three consecutive wins over top-20 opponents, the Blue Devils appear to be peaking at the flawless time. They played in their practice uniforms in their first game and ignited the Wolverines to win their first Big Ten Tournament Championship since the 1997-1998 season.

However as we have always said, turnovers are rebounds denied, or, in a new term, we like to call them prebounds. That appears to be the case in 2017, and it could mean a third national championship for the Blue Devils in the last eight years.
