Chelsea Boss Antonio Conte Says Inter Links Are No Surprise

Conte is contracted to Chelsea until 2019 but the club want him to extend his deal this summer.

"I read this interview about Pastorello".

"If somebody wants to know how things are, they just have to ask me".

"I don't know why [I'm linked with Inter] but it's normal to try to involve my name in this situation".

However, the 24-year-old insists that he is committed to proving himself at Real and he has not yet received any phone call from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

"This is the truth".

And Conte admits that while he is aware of Pastorello's comments, he does not listen to others speculating about his future. "If he wins a title and begins the cycle, the objective is one of continuity", said the agent, who has become an increasingly prominent figure behind the scenes at Chelsea since last summer. You know better than me about this.

Despite rather questionable late links to the likes of Liverpool, Pirlo never tasted the Premier League as a player and instead opted to spend his entire career in Italy before ending his Juve contract a year early in order to head to the United States.

"I think we must pay great attention, because if we think tomorrow is going to be easy we are making a great mistake". He's not happy. But to stay at Chelsea, a really great team, is very important. "I think it was right to bring him with us this season". "Tottenham's result is important, but our results are the most important things".

Apart from N'Golo Kante and Marcos Alonso, Conte has largely been working with the same squad of players who struggled under Jose Mourinho last season.

Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Manchester City extended Costa's current barren streak to four matches - during which time he has also received three yellow cards - but Conte is adamant that his striker is playing a key role in Chelsea's march towards the Premier League title.
