Europe's fastest and highest rollercoaster just opened at Ferrari Land, Spain

When you're experiencing the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe, the last thing you want to worry about is getting smacked in the head by a bird flying by.

Arturo Mas-Sardá and Piero Ferrari set the park's wheels in motion in an emotive event attended by a host of celebrities, including special guests Ferrari test driver, Marc Gené.

Ferrari Land opens as part of PortAventura World Parks & Resort, reinforcing its position as a world-class tourist destination.

The video alone is head spinning, but those who want to courageous the real thing this summer should head to Ferrari Land in PortAventura which opened Europe's highest and fastest rollercoaster today.

There are also restaurants, shops and shows aimed at reflecting the spirit of Ferrari.
