Fresh off the heels of Carmelo Anthony's Internet beef with New York Knicks president Phil Jackson, rumors of a split from his wife of seven years, LaLa Anthony, started spreading.

The couple currently has no plans to file for divorce, but the actress and National Basketball Association star are now living separately.

According to the report, the duo's relationship has been filled with peaks and valleys, but things have been very stressful for the couple over the past National Basketball Association season, where Melo's name was constantly involved in trade talks. They share one child together, 10-year-old Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.

So far there are no plans for the Anthonys to uproot Kiyan from his friends and school in NY.

La La Anthony is making a big statement in NYC - going out without her wedding ring ... after separating from her husband, Carmelo Anthony. She claims she is six and a half months pregnant and believes that Carmelo is the father.

According to ESPN, Carmelo Anthony scored 17 points in the New York Knicks final game of the season against the Philadelphia 76ers.
