Nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards were announced on "CBS This Morning" Thursday by music trio Lady Antebellum.

Miranda Lambert's Tour will start in Nashville, Tennessee on April 6, 2017 and will end at Westport, Co.

The 52nd annual ACM Awards will air from the T-Mobile Arena. Before he took home song of the year for "Die a Happy Man", the presenters earned laughs from the audience for mocking the infamous mishap at the recent Academy Awards. With only an acoustic guitar and ethereal lights behind her, Lambert proved why she deserved her eighth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year honor. Singer T.J. Osborne thanked he and guitarist John's parents for always believing in them "from the time we were babies".

The show featured numerous performances, including ones by Faith Hill with Tim McGraw, along with a tribute to the late rock 'n-roll pioneer Chuck Berry. "Luke will just say anything that shows up in his mind, so I think it's better to have Luke on a teleprompter than to have him just free-styling off his brain".

Lambert, who dazzled on the red carpet with boyfriend Anderson East, sang an emotional rendition of her new song "Tin Man".

Thomas Rhett was a multiple victor too. "Still to this day, I think that my dad is one of the best songwriters and best performers that I've ever gotten to witness". Urban was nominated twice, as both the artist and producer, in the Album and Single Record of the Year categories. Also competing for the title are Dierks Bentley's "Black", "Dig Your Roots" by Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban's "Ripcord", which also received a Grammy nomination. Thomas Rhett was named Male Vocalist of the Year and he also won the Song of the Year crown with "Die a Happy Man".

She won Album Of The Year for The Weight Of These Wings, her two-disc work that revolves around the disintegration of her almost decade-long relationship with Shelton. Considering that she is just 33 years old and has a long career ahead of her, Lambert's net worth is sure to increase.
