'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is not just about cricket: Sachin Tendulkar

It will surely be a treat for not only the fans of Sachin Tendulkar but also the fans of Cricket. While launching the much-awaited trailer of the film Sachin said, "My childhood was the most awesome time of my life".

It is filled with some real life footages that will take you back in time, and is good enough to give you goose bumps. And if the trailer is anything to go by, the movie is likely to be a blockbuster. The movie is directed by James Erkine and produced by Ravi Bhanchandka and Carnival Motion Picture. At the launch was present the master blaster Sahcin Tendulkar himself with the entire team of the movie.

From his admittedly mischievous childhood to the turning point of his career, the film promises to walk us through what we have not seen about Sachin Tendulkar.

This is the third movie to be based on a cricketer's life after MS Dhoni - the Untold Story and Azhar. It is easy to forget, that the man, who Indians know as a God was once a mere child, a naughty kid with hopes of winning the World Cup one day.

No one person carried the burden of a nation as Sachin Tendulkar did, that's why he is the unbeatable legend of the generation of India. "That's how movies influenced me", the cricketer-MP said.

"This film has helped me relive the important moments of my life through its making!"

"I was 10 when India won the world cup in 1983". Legendary Music Directory AR.Rahman composed music for the film. "I remain a private person but realised that there is much I have not revealed or spoken about, to those who have been instrumental to my life and career, especially my fans". It is set to hit the theaters in on 26th May in Hindi, Marathi, English, Tamil and Telugu.
