April 14 (ANI): One person was killed and three others injured after a shooting incident at the West Lake Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) transit station in Atlanta on Thursday. The four people who were shot were in stable condition at Grady Hospital as of at 5:30 p.m.

"Between H.E. Holmes and West Lake station I heard "Pop" pop, '" Caleb told CNN by phone.

A man who was in the train vehicle told Atlanta's Fox 5 television that a man wearing a hat sat next to another passenger, his head bobbing.

She said MARTA officers caught the suspect at the West Lake station. "It was like he was aiming at me, my sister and her boyfriend". According to a witness, a man stepped out of a black auto and began shooting at another man who was sitting outside the MARTA Station. The victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.

"Due to a Police action the Wst End Stn is close, there is no train or bus service at the station". Police have since confirmed one of those four died.

Police say the shooting that killed a man on an Atlanta public transit train appears to be a "targeted, isolated incident".

About two weeks ago, a fire caused a bridge to collapse on I-85 in Atlanta. Authorities say that they meant to complete the highway repairs by June 15. A suspect faces an arson charge in the incident, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution detailed. MARTA is the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. A suspect has been detained and the investigation is ongoing.
