UFC 210: There was major controversy at Daniel Cormier's weigh

With that being said, it has not stopped fans from speculating as to Cormier's weight-cut, and whether or not the light heavyweight champ endured a brutal weight cut leading up to the fight. The event was private to the media where Jones answered a number of questions from his current well being to the fights on Saturday night. I mean, I know I was a different opponent than his previous guy but he still had a full training camp.

Fighters are not given any allowance for championship fights so Cormier was required to weigh-in at 205-pounds or less.

Since defeating Johnson at UFC 187, "DC" has only defended his belt once against Alexander Gustafsson while he also defeated Anderson Silva via decision in a non-title fight after Jones pulled out of their rematch at UFC 200.

Once Cormier finds himself in trouble or if he believes the fight isn't going his way, he'll quickly switch over to wrestling mode, do exactly what he did in the first fight, drag Johnson to deep water, suffocate him on the ground with heavy elbows from top position and wait for "Rumble" to give him his back.

Daniel Cormier has an excuse for his unusual and controversial weight cut during Friday's weigh-ins, but his rival Jon Jones isn't buying it.

"It's a way clever trick, pretty dishonest of him", Jones said. "I would imagine there has to be some type of commission or something to go back and see this blatant foul play and address it. He just completely got away with doing one of the dirtiest things I've seen in sports".

The main card event starts at 3am BST (Sunday in the UK).

"Do I think [Johnson] beats "DC?"

"I see myself as the underdog", Johnson said.

Cormier: I barely made that motherfucker!

"You've got to have the total package to beat people at a certain level in this sport, and DC is closer to that level of having that flawless, complete game".

With it looking like Jones will return to take on the victor of Saturday's main event, Jones took stock of both future possible match ups. For now, however, the wrestler is focused on the Johnson fight so Jones is a "non-factor".

Wise on why Mousasi will win: Weidman has looked really bad in his last two fights. "I'm the only guy to ever beat him so if anyone has unfinished business Cormier I feel he has unfinished business with me".

Whatever trickery may or may not have happened, Saturday's main event is on, so the UFC will avoid a repeat of its most recent event, when the main event between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov had to be called off because the latter fell ill while trying to make weight.
